Thomas C. Aronson

Mr. Aronson is a Senior Vice President of Monroe Capital. He is responsible for sourcing and originating Fund investments. Prior to Monroe, he served Hilco Capital LP in a similar capacity since 2002. Mr. Aronson has over 19 years of commercial banking experience, including eight years with Cole Taylor Bank, a Chicago-based regional commercial bank. He was Senior Vice President and Group Head in the Business Banking Group, and was responsible for asset-based lending, correspondent banking, public funds and a commercial lending division. Deal structures he worked on included revolving and term loans secured by accounts receivable and inventories and fixed assets for acquisition and refinancing transactions. Mr. Aronson also served seven years as a commercial lender with American National Bank, a middle-market business bank subsidiary of Bank One, located in Chicago and two years as Chief Financial Officer of Barton Chemical Corporation, a privately-held consumer products company. He earned his M.B.A. in Management Accounting at DePaul University in Chicago. Mr. Aronson is a graduate of Indiana University (B.S.) with a degree in Finance and Marketing. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
