Monroe Capital Participates in New Credit Facility for MedPlast, Inc.
Monroe Capital LLC announced its participation as a co-lender with CIT Healthcare LLC, as agent, in a $39 million senior secured credit facility in connection with the acquisition of MedPlast, Inc. by Baird Capital Partners. MedPlast, Inc. will use the facility to provide financing for the acquisition and ongoing working capital.

Gulf Coast Machine & Supply Co., Inc.
Monroe Capital LLC, as Agent, announced the funding of a $21 million term loan in connection with the recapitalization of Gulf Coast Machine & Supply Co., Inc. (“Gulfco”) by Industrial Opportunity Partners, LLC. Monroe Capital’s loan facility was used together with a $23.5 million revolving line of credit provided by PNC Business Credit in order to complete the recapitalization transaction.

UIB Capital
Monroe Capital LLC, as sole arranger and agent, announced the funding of a Sharia’h compliant $40.5 million financing facility in connection with the acquisition of an electronics manufacturing services company by Chicago-based private equity investment firm, UIB Capital, a subsidiary of Unicorn Investment Bank, B.S.C., based in Bahrain. The acquired company is a specialty provider of high mix, complex electronics manufacturing services (“EMS”) based in Fremont, California.

Monroe Capital LLC announced the funding of a $21.5 million term loan to SMTC Corporation (NASDAQ: SMTX; TSE: SMX). Monroe Capital acted as Sole Arranger and Agent of a term loan credit facility in conjunction with a $40 million senior credit facility from Wachovia Capital Finance.

Monroe Capital LLC announced the funding of a new $40,625,000 senior credit facility for a specialty apparel company for which Monroe acted as sole arranger and agent.
